The Math Center is an after-school workspace designed to meet the needs of students and is open for all students in middle and high school. Students are encouraged to attend the Math Center for:

Specific help on a math activity or homework
General help on a math topic (such as solving equations or graphing lines)
Simply a space to work on math independently or with other students
Space for Math Team members to work on practice problems

In the Math Center, students have the opportunity to work together, even with students outside of their own class. This program is located in the Middle School Math room, with lots of board space to work on and tools and resources such as calculators and rulers available to use. Specific or general help is provided by Mr. West on most days. Snacks will be provided!

This workspace is intended to be fun and voluntary, not a consequence. School norms and behaviors are expected within the space.

The Math Center will be offered every Monday and Thursday directly after school 2:30-3:30, starting Monday 9/14. High school students can sign up to attend the Math Center using this Google Form (middle school students ask your parent/guardian to sign you up using the form). There is no long-term commitment needed. Sign up for as many or as few days as works for you. I hope to see you in the Math Center next week!
