Reminder that at 5:40am tomorrow morning News Channel 8 Reports Weather at Your School LIVE will be at RLRS! This event will be held from 5:40-6:40am in the bus loop. Students must be with an adult at all times. This is not a drop off event. Normal school day begins at 7:45am. There will be hot chocolate, coffee, and morning snacks!

RLRS WILL HAVE A 1-HOUR DELAY TODAY, TUESDAY, 12/17, DUE TO EARLY MORNING ROAD CONDITIONS . THE FOSTER TECH BUS WILL ALSO BE DELAYED 1 HOUR.
Grades 4 and 5 are proud to present the annual Thanksgiving STEM parade! This year students read Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet and then created shoebox parade floats inspired by a favorite book or literary character. They they created a moveable, codable base from MDOE provided Lego Spike kits. We tried something new this year and used a gray background. The green screen has been great in the past, but it meant students couldn't use the color green in any design else it would turn "invisible". Lesson learned, the gray screen doesn't have a strong enough color to work the same as a green screen, so we opted for a split screen instead. Technology is all about learning and trying new things! Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. :)
