Dear RLRS Families,
Over the weekend, our Rangeley Lakes Regional School Facebook page was compromised. The posts that showed up today were not created by us. One step you could take to help is to report the page as fraudulent.
We will create a new page as soon as possible and share the new page name with all of you. Until then, please monitor our school app, email, and alert texts for important school information.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Respectfully,
Seth Laliberte

On January 31st and February 1st, two musicians from Rangeley Lakes Regional School participated in the Kennebec Valley Music Educators’ Association Honors Music Festival, which was held at Waterville High School. Students who wished to participate in the festival auditioned back in October, and only the best musicians from over fifteen schools were chosen. Once selected, the students were given choral pieces to learn, and spent the majority of the two-day festival rehearsing and perfecting those pieces with the approximately 75 voice choruses. The senior honors group was led by mezzo-soprano, Joelle Morris, and the junior honors group was led by Renae Misner, music teacher at Lawrence High School. The two participating Rangeley students were Kayla Brewer (8th Grade) and Troy Hathaway (9th Grade).
